Be Close to where you can fish in a new lake every day for a month!
Wildwood Campsite is situated at the gateway to the breathtaking Chilcotin district of British Columbia (often known simply as “The Chilcotin.”).  Surrounded by countless lakes, mountains, and forests, the area is known not only as a cultural mecca of the First Nations People, but also as an area with activities that appeal to everyone in every age group, from every background:
The world famous Williams Lake Stampede: Williams Lake is located just 8 miles south of Wildwood Campsite, and every summer they are the host of the Canadian Professional Rodeo Association’s Stampede, including one of the world's most dangerous events - Bull Riding. There's also the classic beauty of Ladies Barrel Racing , Bareback and Saddle Bronco Riding, Steer Wrestling and Tie Down Roping. You'll see all of the top cowboys - international rodeo competitors from Canada and the United States.
Endless fishing and hiking opportunities: at Wildwood it’s possible to get a real taste of the outdoors; the area is filled with hiking trails appropriate for everyone from the most hardcore climber to the amateur just looking for a peaceful walk.  The surrounding rivers are filled with fish of all sizes, shapes and colors!
Wildlife: This area is one of the last places in the world where it is still possible to see herds of wild horses, a feature that makes staying at Wildwood unlike any other experience on earth.  There are also countless deer, elk, moose, and the many, many other animals that come from living in this beautiful mountainous terraine.
Other attractions in the area include Billy Barker Days, snowmobiling and skiing during the fall and winter seasons, and even a chance to have some fun at the local casino, located within only one hour’s drive!
What can you do here? The possibilities are endless!
